Loneliness is a site-specific artwork based on my personal experience of loneliness in the city of Los Angeles. The performance and documentary video pretend to be a realistic and critical expression of how we want our reality to be like in the contemporary globalized, alienated and accelerated urbanized world we live in. And invite the viewer to observe him/herself in their own lives. We live in a urban and tumultuous rhythm with easy access to communication with others. But, order experiences, are reduced to superficial issues, because no one has the time needed to talk about the things they struggle with. She creates textured environments where people transport themselves by stepping into a slow, poetic dialogue of images, and perceive the painful transformation of the 2007 earthquake.
